Ms Ong is one of the best chemistry teachers I have had and she was cleared
up concepts with me very fast and patiently. She handles her students with much
care, always watching if they have stayed up late to study or didn’t get enough
sleep. She has love and concern for the little things like if we are getting
enough rest or if we are tried from a long day of school. She is very patient
when teaching us and does not trying until we are completely grasped the
concept. She is very quick and sharp, picking up the important points in the
different chapter and highlighting them to us. She isn’t long winded and is
very efficient when teaching also giving us exam smart techniques to use. She also stays whatever was taught that day.
During exam period, she is even more efficient on she goes through the topics
once again and actively tackling the problem that each individual student
faces. For the past 3 years, I have been with Ms Ong, I have learnt more and
grown more than I ever thought I would and when the students are handling too
much, she picks up on it as she knows our limits and quickly gives us a break,
steering the conversations to something less stressful and more fun. For the
long period of time spent as her student, she has helped me to love chemistry and
yet helped with any improvement from a C5 to an average of A2.
